I’m in search of a web developer with knowledge in WordPress and Woocommerce plugin development.
The project is collaborative work on an existing WordPress plugin with me for a grocery store client.
The plugin replaces the regular WooCommerce price with a measured based pricing system.
It provides the ability to add 3 different unit-based prices to a product: weight based, unit based, and package based.
Right now, the plugin replaces the regular add to cart WooCommerce form with a custom one which contains a quantity field, a swatch for choosing the pricing method. It does so on single product page, product loops, and every place which contains the WooCommerce add-to-cart button hook.
It also replaces the regular price display with a JS based one (changes when you switch between methods)
We need someone to add Quantity buttons to the WooCommerce Mini-cart template widget that can support the usage of the Pricing Plugin. Each item in the mini-cart should have similar + – buttons to the one that are displayed right now by the mentioned plugin, and as soon as you click on one of the +- the quantity should change and all prices in the mini-cart (total of item, and total in cart), should update appropriately without page refresh. Therefore, AJAX skills and knowledge of working with ajax WooCommerce cart is needed.
Dev skills in need:
– Namespaced OOP
– Woocommerce Plugin Development
–AJAX communication
– Collaborative development
– Working with FTP
– PHP
– JS with jQuery
– HTML & CSS
If you need more details about the project, see the actual code or have a look at the structure of it. Let me know and would be happy to provide it over a shared screen call and explain everything in more detail.
Thanks,
Tsviel
